Support Officer Recruitment
Beginning Sunday, September 9th at 7 p.m., anyone interested in becoming a Support Officer can come to the 4th floor of Newcomb Hall to pick up a Green Book and exam. Exams will be due by Thursday, September 14th at 5 p.m. Depending on exam performance, students will be selected to sit for interviews with current Honor Support Officers.
Support Officer positions include:
Honor Counsel are responsible for investigating reports of alleged Honor Offenses and serving as advocates at Honor trials.
Advisors are assigned to each student involved in an Honor proceeding, and serve as a confidential resource for students to help guide them through the Honor case process. They also hold office hours and assist students in filing Conscientious Retractions.
Honor Educators are responsible for the education of members of the University community about Honor. They give presentations and engage with students in smaller, personal settings about issues related to the Honor System.
