- University of Virginia Writing Center: The University's Writing Center provides several different resources to help students improve their writing skills. The web site includes information about making appointments with a writing center tutor, information about what constitutes plagiarism, and an on-line writing tutorial.
- APA Style On-line: Web site of the American Psychological Association with tips regarding APA citation style and on-line ordering capability of their comprehensive style guide.
- The Landmark Project's Citation Machine: An interesting little site that describes itself as " an interactive Web tool designed to assist teachers and students in producing reference citations for crediting information from other people."
- The Columbia Guide to Online Style: A citation guide from Columbia University providing quick outlines of citation style for resources often overlooked in other style guides like web sites, software programs and electronic publications.
- Duke University Library: Duke has a helpful citation section on its library web site which includes information regarding four different citation styles.
- Online!: An online reference guide to the use of internet sources. The site includes a section regarding different citation styles.
- UVA Teaching Resource Center (TRC): Link to TRC quick guidelines for evaluating web pages for use in research.
- The Center for Academic Integrity: Membership organization based at the Kenan Center for Ethics at Duke University. Members are educational institutions and individuals interested in promoting academic integrity.
- The Journal of College and Character: Journal focused on how colleges and universities build character in their students. Articles often focus on best practices from a variety of institutions.
