The First Year Association members are representatives from their respective dorms who are chosen by their dorm's Honor Educator to serve as liaisons between first year students and the Honor Committee. Interested first year students take a test and write an essay and the representative is chosen from this pool of students. Members are, in effect, Honor Educators who will promote discussion about Honor in the first year area. The Honor Educators fully familiarize those who are selected with the procedures and tenets of the System. It is the hope of the program that these persons will be viewed as a resource of Honor information for their dorm mates.
