The High School Science, Technology, & Engineering Research (HooS-STER) program is devoted to bringing high school students to the University of Virginia for a summer enriching experience in some of UVA's cutting edge research facilities.

Goal of the program is to build connections with local high school students providing them with experience and knowledge to help them pursue studies and careers in science and engineering.

Benefits of the Program include hands-on experience with a research project, developing scientific writing and verbal skills, college and career preparation and more.
