SLI-Tibetan Program Housing

We are no longer accepting housing reservations for the 2013 SLI-Tibetan Program.

There is a three-week (21 days) minimum stay required for all reservations. Please note that you must be 18 years of age to live on Grounds for the SLI-Tibetan Program.

Accommodations


Students staying in SLI-Tibetan Program Housing will stay in single and double air-conditioned rooms in the Spanish House, located on Jefferson Park Avenue. Single rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. Housekeeping will remove common area trash and sanitize common areas and bathrooms, but residents are responsible for removing their own trash from their rooms.

Meal Plans and Parking


Conference Services does not arrange dining, meal plans, or parking for SLI-Tibetan Program residents. However, meal plans are available for SLI-Tibetan students through Dining Services (982-5110) and parking is available through Parking and Transportation (924-7231).

Reservation Forms


To make a reservation, please submit the Online Reservation Form and Credit Card Payment. Students paying by check or financial aid will need to use the Printable Reservation Form and return it to our office with appropriate signatures. We are unable to accept reservations by telephone or fax. Please note that full payment or proof of financial aid must accompany the reservation form in order for your reservation to be processed.

All suitemate and roommate requests must be mutual and cannot be guaranteed. Please keep in mind that room changing will only be allowed under extreme circumstances, and a fee will be assessed.

Cancellation Policy


If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please use the Change and Cancellation Form above. Please note that all cancellations must use the Change and Cancellation Form in order to be honored.

All refunds are determined based upon your scheduled arrival/departure date and the date that this form is received in our office. Please note that late fees are not refundable under any circumstances and are not included in calculations of your refund amount.

  • If Conference Services receives this form seven days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee.

  • If Conference Services receives this form less than one week prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee and a charge equal to seven nights of housing.

  • If you would like to leave earlier than scheduled, you will receive a refund for the amount of time left in your reservation less a $50.00 cancellation fee and a charge equal to seven nights of housing.

Check-In/Check-Out


Keys may be picked up from 2:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, June 9th, 2013 at the Spanish House. Any participant arriving after 5:00pm on Sunday, June 9, 2013 will go to Conference Services located in Page Dorm to pick up their key.

All students must vacate their housing by 11:00am on Saturday, August 3, 2013 or on the day of departure indicated on your reservation form. No one will be allowed to stay in housing past 11:00am on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Participants can check-out on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 8:00am-11:00am in the Spanish House. Any participants leaving before 8:00am on Sunday, June 9, 2013 will go to Conference Services located in Page Dorm to drop off their key.
