Summer Session Housing

2015 Main Session Dates

  • Session I: May 18-June 13
  • Session II: June 15-July 11
  • Session III: July 13-August 7


Summer Session residents will stay in air-conditioned hall-style accommodations in Hereford Residential College, which include shared common area and bathrooms (gender specific). Housekeeping will remove common area trash and sanitize common areas and bathrooms, but residents are responsible for removing their own trash from their rooms.

Meal Plans and Parking

Conference Services does not arrange dining, meal plans, or parking for Summer Session residents. However, meal plans are available for Summer Session students through Dining Services (982-5110) and parking is available through Parking and Transportation (924-7231).


The housing rate is $34.00 per person, per bed, per night for a single occupancy room. Payment is due upon registration. To make a reservation, please submit the Online Reservation Form and Credit Card Payment. Please note we are unable to accept reservations by telephone. Full payment must be submitted at the time of registration in order for your reservation to be processed.

Students applying financial aid funds to their summer housing fees do not complete registration through this website. Please contact Conference Services at 434-924-4479 to speak with a staff member for more information regarding this registration process.

Please note proof of financial aid will be required to complete the reservation process.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please complete the Change and Cancellation Form available here:

Please note that all cancellations must use the Change and Cancellation Form in order to be honored.

All refunds are determined based upon your scheduled arrival/departure date and the date that this form is received in our office. Please note that late fees are not refundable under any circumstances and are not included in calculations of your refund amount. Refunds payments will be applied to the credit card used to make the original payment and will be posted within one business week.


Keys may be picked up between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for Session I on Sunday, May 17, 2015, or between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on all other scheduled arrival dates. Check-in location will be communicated by e-mail.

All students must vacate their housing by 11:00 a.m. on the day indicated on your reservation form. All students must check out of Summer Session housing by 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2015. Keys must be returned to the Conference Services office in Page House. No students will be allowed to stay in housing after 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2015.
