Summer Session Housing

We are no longer accepting housing reservations for Summer Session 2013.

Summer Session housing is available from May 12, 2013 after 5:00 p.m. until August 3, 2013 before 3:00 p.m. There is a three-week (21 days) minimum stay required for all reservations, and you must be able to show proof of academic pursuits for the duration of your stay.

Please note that you must be 18 years of age to live on Grounds during Summer Session.

Accommodations


*Session 1: Session 1 will stay in air-conditioned suite-style accommodations in Gooch-Dillard. This includes shared common area and bathroom with suitemates. Housekeeping will remove common area trash and sanitize common areas and bathrooms, but residents are responsible for removing their own trash from their rooms.

Sessions 2 and 3: Sessions 2 and 3 will stay in air-conditioned hall-style accommodations in Alderman Road Housing. This includes shared common area and bathrooms (gender specific). Housekeeping will remove common area trash and sanitize common areas and bathrooms, but residents are responsible for removing their own trash from their rooms.

*For those participants staying for Session 1 and Session 2 or 3, please note that you will have to move out of your assignment in Gooch-Dillard on Sunday, June 9, 2013 to your assignment in Alderman.

Meal Plans and Parking


Conference Services does not arrange dining, meal plans, or parking for Summer Session residents. However, meal plans are available for Summer Session students through Dining Services (982-5110) and parking is available through Parking and Transportation (924-7231).

Reservation Forms


To make a reservation, please submit the Online Reservation Form and Credit Card Payment. Students paying by check or financial aid will need to use the Printable Reservation Form and return it to our office with appropriate signatures. We are unable to accept reservations by telephone or fax. Please note that full payment or proof of financial aid must accompany the reservation form in order for your reservation to be processed.

All suitemate and roommate requests must be mutual and cannot be guaranteed. Please keep in mind that room changing will only be allowed under extreme circumstances and must be approved by the Director of Conference Services.

Check-In/Check-Out


Keys may be picked up between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for Session I on Sunday, May 12, 2013, or between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on all other scheduled arrival dates. Check-in location will be communicated by e-mail.

All students must vacate their housing by 11:00 a.m. on the day indicated on your reservation form or 3:00 p.m. if you are departing on August 3, 2013. Keys must be returned to the Conference Services office in Page House. No one will be allowed to stay in housing past 3:00 p.m. on August 3, 2013.
