Maps and Directions

Most program check-ins at the University of Virginia Conference Services take place at Conference Services office, in Kent Dorm on Bonnycastle Drive, located in the McCormick Road Residence Area off of McCormick Road. If your program checks-in at an alternate location, directions will be provided by your program leader. All program check-in locations will also be well-marked by signs placed around the University Grounds. Driving directions to the Conference Services office follow:

Driving Directions from the North:

Take Route 29 South into Charlottesville. As you approach the University, Route 29 is called Seminole Trail, then Emmet Street. After Emmet Street narrows from divided four lanes to a two lane road, you will come to the intersection of Emmet Street and Ivy Road, with a Chevron on your left and the Cavalier Inn on your right. Go straight through this intersection and continue 0.2 miles (you will go under a footbridge). After the footbridge, bear right up a ramp onto McCormick Road to the right. Continue down McCormick and take the second right onto Bonnycastle Drive. The Conference Center is located in Kent Dorm, the second building on your left. Park in the parking lot on your right in the reserved Conference Services spaces, come in and get a parking permit.

Driving Directions from the East, West, and South:

From I-64, take Exit 118B (Route 29 North). From Route 29 take the first off-ramp (Route 29 Business). At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Fontaine Avenue. Proceed to the second traffic light and make a left onto Maury Road. Pass through the 4-way stop sign where the road name changes to Alderman Road. Continue down the road to a traffic light at the intersection of Alderman and McCormick Roads. Turn right onto McCormick and take the second left onto Bonnycastle Drive. The Conference Center is located in Kent Dorm, the second building on your left. Park in the parking lot on your right in the reserved Conference Services spaces, come in and get a parking permit.
