The Gooch/Dillard Residence Area is located at the intersection of Alderman and Stadium Roads and houses approximately 620 first year students. This area consists of nine four-floor buildings with two-story, air-conditioned suites.

Although Runk Dining Hall is just a few steps away, there are also two kitchens and four lounge areas located within the complex, and one of the lounges has a communal kitchen.

A typical suite accommodates six students in single-occupancy rooms on two levels. However, there are some double- or triple-occupancy rooms, and a few suites will house up to ten students in eight bedrooms. Each suite has a living area and bath facilities. Free basic cable service is provided in the living area, and cable hook-up in the bedrooms is available at an additional charge (you must provide a cable).

The furniture in Gooch and Dillard has recently been updated, and each living room includes a sofa, two arm chairs, a coffee table, and two end tables with lamps.
