Gooch/Dillard Suite-Style Residences

[Area Photo]

The Gooch/Dillard Residence Area is located at the intersection of Alderman and Stadium Roads and houses approximately 410 first year students during the 2015-2016 academic year. Two of the buildings are closed for 2015-2016 due to renovations. This area consists of nine four-floor buildings with two-story, air-conditioned suites.

A typical suite accommodates six students in single-occupancy or double-occupancy rooms on two levels. However, there are a few triple-occupancy rooms, and some suites house up to ten students in eight bedrooms. Each suite has a living area and bath facilities. There is an upperclass Resident Advisor for every 3-5 suites (17-27 first year residents).

Although Runk Dining Hall is just a few steps away, there are also kitchens and lounge areas located within the complex.

The furniture in Gooch and Dillard has recently been updated, and each living room includes a sofa, two arm chairs, a coffee table, and two end tables with lamps.
