Gooch/Dillard Suite-Style Residences

[Area Photo]

The Gooch/Dillard Residence Area is located at the intersection of Alderman and Stadium Roads. This area consists of nine four-floor buildings with two-story, air-conditioned suites. Five of the buildings are closed during the 2016-2017 academic year for renovations. The remaining four have been renovated and house approximately 310 first year students.

A typical suite accommodates six students in double-occupancy rooms on two levels. However, there are a few single-occupancy or triple-occupancy rooms, and some suites house up to ten students in eight bedrooms. Each suite has a living area and bath facilities. There is an upperclass Resident Advisor for every 3-5 suites (17-27 first year residents).

Each suite living room includes a sofa, two arm chairs, a coffee table, and two end tables with lamps. Although Runk Dining Hall is just a few steps away, there are also shared kitchens and lounge areas located within the complex.

Bus Routes: NorthLine, Outer U-Loop, Inner U-Loop
