Russian House

[Area Photo] The Russian House provides a congenial atmosphere for the pursuit of Russian area studies. A mixture of graduate students and undergraduates, some of whom are native speakers of Russian, live in the Russian House, and it has become a center for engaging cultural activities including a weekly Russian tea and conversation hour.

The Russian House is located at 102 Cresap Road, near the intersection of Ivy Road and Emmet Street. For more information, see the Russian House website.

Each bedroom is furnished with the following items:
  • 1 or 2 extra-long captain's beds [80" x 36"], with 6 drawers underneath
  • 1 or 2 desks with carrels and chairs
  • Wardrobe(s) or closet
  • Wastebasket
  • Window blinds (must be left in place)
  • Wood or tile floors
  • Individual data connections to the University's computer network
