Casa Bolivar (Spanish House)

Casa Bolivar houses about two dozen students, providing them with an atmosphere to improve their Spanish and to earn one academic credit in the process. The Casa Bolivar is open to all upperclass undergraduates.

La Casa Bolivar is located on Jefferson Park Avenue, between la Maison Française and the Shea House.

Note: Living in a language house requires participation in a meal plan. Please contact the language department or Dining Services for more information.

Each bedroom is furnished with the following items:
  • 1 or 2 extra-long captain's beds [80" x 36"], with 6 drawers underneath
  • 1 or 2 desks with carrels and chairs
  • 1 or 2 wardrobes
  • Wastebasket
  • Window blinds (must be left in place)
  • Wood floors
  • Individual data connections to the University's computer network
