He is editor of Presses Universitaires de France’s collection entitled "Pratiques théoriques" [theoretical practices] and has been since 1999 a member of the editorial committee of the magazine Esprit. Yates (Managing Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture and Research Assistant Professor of Sociology) in the latest issue of the Hedgehog review, Abundance on Trial: The Cultural Significance of "Sustainability".
