Greetings! Our monthly STCP project conference call on Monday, May 4 confirmed continuing concern about whether and how national legislation may affect tobacco growing communities. A few highlights of the call were:

 
 
Conference Call to Discuss Legislation... 

People who have participated in the monthly project call (first Monday of each month) are invited to call 1-888-889-4950, password SLS, on Monday, May 11, at 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight time. If you have not participated before, but are interested in doing so, please contact Frank Dukes at 804-924-2041. There are some limits to the numbers of people who can participate on such a call.
