Intramural-Recreational Sports offer two pools for your recreation
and fitness needs.
The Aquatic and Fitness Center is available for group activities
and rentals. All rentals must be requested at least two weeks in
advance to the Aquatic Director. Rental rates vary depending on
group, time of day and areas of the facility used. Please e-mail
aquatics@virginia.edu
for more information.
A variety of groups utilize both aquatic facilities. On-campus
groups include student council, sororities and fraternities, the
UVA Swimming and Diving teams, housing, SCUBA, water polo, intramural
leagues and student clubs. Outside groups include area swim clubs
and high school activities.
The UVA Swimming and Diving Team practice and host their home
meets at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Natatorium. Both NCAA and
High School swim meets are also hosted at Aquatic and Fitness Center.
