Four, two-week sessions are offered June 8–July 31.
We incorporate swimming, music, drama, nature activities, and arts
and crafts into our programming. Campers are grouped according to their
year in school. Depending on their age, campers may visit museums,
community attractions, and nature areas for hiking and canoeing throughout
the summer. Campers begin and end their day at the UVA Slaughter Recreation
Center. Each camper will receive a T-shirt that's sure to be a summer
favorite.
Campers may register for any or all of the four, two-week sessions. Each session centers around a different theme, which is incorporated into scheduled camp activities whenever possible. Activities may include local field trips to a lake or park, ice-skating, roller-skating, and other special events.
