1999 marked Memorial Gymnasium's
75th anniversary at the University of Virginia. Established originally
as a memorial to the University's World War I casualties, this elegant
facility continues to play a vital role in the athletic, recreational,
and physical education kinesiology programs on Grounds. Venerable
old Memorial
Gymnasium has received a thorough facelift, courtesy of a gift
of more than $1.5 million from an anonymous donor. Click on the

Membership ID is required for equipment
checkout, and will be held until the equipment is returned. An equipment
checkout form must be completed and signed indicating that the individual
is responsible for all equipment checked out, and will pay the replacement
cost for lost, stolen or damaged equipment.
