The North Grounds Recreation Center, located near the University Law and Business Schools, was originally built in 1986 and was renovated in 2006. The facility includes a two-court gymnasium, weight room, fitness area, racquetball and squash courts and multi-purpose room.
The North Grounds Recreation Center Expansion, scheduled to begin mid-April 2012 and be completed fall 2013, will result in a 33,000 square feet addition that will include a pool, whirlpool, sauna, fitness room, squash courts and locker rooms. - newly refinished wood floors in gymnasium and racquet courts
