The 2006 renovation of North Grounds Recreation Center
adds a new dimension to sports and fitness for IM-Rec Sports members. Strategically
located within easy walking distance of the University Law and Business
schools.
Facility Features
- Cardiovascular equipment, light weight dumbbells,
strength training machines - 2-Court Gymnasium
- 3 Handball/racquetball courts
- 2 Squash courts
- 2 Multipurpose/group exercise rooms
- Day lockers & towel service
Renovation features include:
- air conditioning throughout the facility
- enlarged fitness area with Mondo sports flooring
- Body Masters free weight equipment
- additional cardio machines including Cybex Arc Trainers and True Treadmills
- flat screen televisions and JBL sound system with satellite radio
- newly refinished wood floors in gymnasium and racquet courts
Available Equipment
Membership ID is required for equipment checkout. Participants will pay the replacement cost for
lost, stolen or damaged equipment.
