A public yoga practice and lecture on Friday, April 5th, 4:00–5:30 PM, John Paul Jones Arena, in the Women's Practice Gymnasium.

UVA welcomes for the first time Sharath Jois and Saraswathi Jois, grandson and daughter of legendary guru Shri K. Patthabi Jois, founder of modern-day Ashtanga Yoga, and themselves leaders of the worldwide Ashtanga practice community.
Please join in a unique opportunity to learn from these two master teacher/practitioners as they lead an hour-long yoga session, followed by an address on the benefits to health and well-being of this ancient, contemplative system.
No prior experience with yoga practice is required.
