Personal Training is available to UVA students & members only.

How to Register

Step 1: Fill out the Personal Training Registration form and submit to the IM-Rec Sports Business Office (in the Aquatic & Fitness Center) at your earliest convenience. In accordance with HIPAA regulations, we ask that the completed form not be submitted electronically or by fax as it contains personal health history information.

Step 2: The Fitness Office will contact you within 3-5 business days with a registration confirmation and additional information. Please note that medical clearance will be requested for clients meeting national standards set forth by the American College of Sports Medicine.

Step 3: Once a personal trainer has been assigned and all paperwork received, the Fitness Office will confirm and provide a rental number to be used for payment. Payment will be due in full and processed by the Business Office in person or by phone (924-3791; Mon-Fri 8a-5:30p).

Step 4: Following payment, your trainer will contact you directly within 1-2 business days to schedule a fitness assessment and subsequent training sessions.

Register Anytime

Registration for Personal Training is ongoing at the IM-Rec Sports Business Office, room 209 in the Aquatic & Fitness Center, open Mon–Fri from 8:00 AM–5:30 PM. Once the Registration Form is received, the Fitness Office will assign a Personal Trainer to meet with you. You will then receive confirmation from the Fitness Office along with a rental number to be used for payment. Following payment, your trainer will contact you directly to schedule an initial consultation and subsequent workout sessions.
