Multi-Level Hatha

These classes will explore the different asanas with the emphasis on function, core strength, posture and alignment to encourage flexibility, stability, coordination and balance. We will include holding poses (yin yoga) and flow poses (vinyasa and sun salutations) as well as a deep relaxation (yoga nidra) at the end.
Instructor: Sue Bovenizer

Yoga Fundamentals
Participants will gain a strong foundation in classical hatha yoga by learning basic yoga poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation.
Building upon this foundation, participants will have the opportunity to explore other styles of yoga, such as restorative, vinyasa, and
power yoga. This class is recommended for beginners who are interested in trying various styles of yoga practice.
Instructor: Sarah Cottingham

Intermediate Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga
This vinyasa (flow) yoga course is designed to take your practice to the next level! Participants should have some experience with yoga, be very comfortable with sun salutations, and have some familiarity with beginning inversions (i.e. shoulder-stand). Specific course content will depend upon participants’ abilities, but will be designed to challenge students to achieve new levels in their practice while working mindfully with the body. Emphasis will be placed on proper alignment, breathing, and finding balance in the practice of yoga.
