Highpoint Standings

The IM-Rec Sports Department offers an Intramural Sports Highpoint System for the First Year Dormitory, Fraternity, and Sorority Leagues. The Champions in each category will each receive up to 30 pairs of "Highpoint Champion" mesh shorts and will have their organization’s name displayed on the Intramural Wall of Fame, located both on-line and in the Aquatic & Fitness Center.

Fraternity, Sorority, and Dorm teams must use their organization's name within their team name to receive points.

All participants on the team must be eligible members of the organization that they are representing in order to receive points.

For league sports, organizations can only receive points for one team per league. The team that advances the furthest in the playoffs will be awarded the points for their organization. If an organization places more than one team in the final eight of their respective league (ie - 1st and 3rd place in the Fraternity league of Flag Football), points for the lower places will not be awarded (but that team will block others from earning points).

For certain tournaments, organizations can receive points for each classification (ie - weight class). If an organization places more than one participant in any particular classification, points for the lower places will not be awarded (but that participant will block others from earning points).

First Year Dormitory League teams may receive points for Co-Rec or Women's league teams provided all participants live in the same Dormitory. Dorms may earn points for multiple teams per sport provided each team is in a different league (ie - a dorm can have teams in the Dorm, Women's, and Co-Rec leagues of Flag Football and earn points for each league).

Fraternities and Sororities will NOT be awarded points for teams participating in Co-Rec leagues. Exception - points will be awarded for Co-Rec Innertube Water Polo provided all of the participants (of their respective genders) are members of their respective houses.
