Outdoor Recreation Center: Equipment Rentals & Resource Library

The Outdoor Recreation Center, located on Emmet Street beside the Cavalier Inn, provides rental equipment for hiking, camping, and water sports, and an expanded resource library. We offer rentals to students/ faculty and members of the surrounding community.
The rental resource library at the ORC is a collection of local and regional publications, guides, and maps to pertinent outdoor recreational areas, locations and destinations.  This includes a regional selection of climbing guides, hiking resources, a complete set of Appalachian Trail topo maps, paddling and backpacking guides. In addition, our staff can assist with your trip planning.
