IM-Rec Sports offers various Certification courses throughout the year. Courses through the American Red Cross may include Lifeguard Training and Recertification, Water Safety Instructor, First Aid and CPR/AED. CPR certifications are generally offered both fall and spring while lifeguarding and WSI tend to be only offered in the spring. Our SCUBA certification is through NAUI, which is a certification agency that is recognized world-wide. Our SCUBA course fee includes the required open water dives. Lifeguards at the AFC Pool are required to have ARC Lifeguarding Certification and CPR for the Professional Rescuer, for which training may be available.
