Teaching
workshop to be held Aug. 25-26
The
Teaching Resource
Center is offering a teaching workshop on Aug. 25-26 for faculty
and teaching assistants who are new to U.Va. or new to teaching,
although veteran instructors may attend as well.
Registration
begins at 8:15 a.m. in Old Cabell Hall lobby. All sessions will
begin at 9 a.m. Opening remarks will be made by U.Va. President
John T. Casteen III (day one) and Vice Provost Barbara Nolan (day
two). Course topics include responding to student writing, difficult
classroom situations and teaching lab courses.
