With U.Va.'s home football schedule set to open Sept. 18 against Wake Forest, the Athletic Department has a few programs for faculty and staff.

  • The Ticket Office has announced "Faculty/Staff Days" for the games against Duke (Oct. 9) and Buffalo (Nov. 13). Coupons are available for an $8 discount off of the normal $26 price for up to four tickets to either game. Call 924-UVA1.
  • Downtown merchants, the Charlottesville Parking Center and the Charlottesville Transit System have teamed up to offer parking and shuttle service to all home games from the Downtown Mall area. The Parking Center will reserve 750 spaces for football ticket holders in the Market Street and Water Street garages. Parking is $2 and round-trip shuttle service is $1. Also, many downtown merchants will offer discounts to ticket-bearing customers.

Call 977-1812, 296-RIDE, or 296-8548.
