You may already have bookmarked "The Oracle of Bacon at Virginia," the popular game which uses the Internet Movie Database to link any actor to Kevin Bacon through their common movie projects, but if you haven't visited lately it's worth another look. The Computer Science Department has taken over the "Oracle," which Time magazine named one of the top 10 web sites for 1996, and has made it a publicity vehicle. It still draws 20,000 hits per month.
