Andy Rooney to be valediction speaker

Andy Rooney, Emmy Award-winning CBS News correspondent, author and columnist, will be the keynote speaker at Valedictory Exercises May 20.

Rooney's unique, humorous "60 Minutes" segments, "A Few Minutes With Andy Rooney," have been a regular feature since 1978. In addition to his work at CBS, Rooney writes a column for Tribune Media Services that appears in about 200 newspapers. He has also been a contributing writer to Esquire, Life, Look, Reader's Digest, Harper's and Saturday Review, and is the author of some 11 books.
