In Memoriam

Frank S. Kaulback Jr., a retired dean and professor at the McIntire School of Commerce, died Oct. 26 at a nursing home in Northern Virginia. He was 87. Born in Pittsburgh, Kaulback attended U.Va., earning his bachelor' degree in 1934, a master's in '43 and Ph.D. in '45. He headed the Commerce School for 22 years, stepping down in 1977.
