ITC search begins

The search for a new chief information officer, a vice president-level post, began last month. Chaired by President John T. Casteen III and Leonard W. Sandridge, executive vice president and chief operating officer, the committee includes: assistant vice president William J. Randolph, director of Integrated Systems; Harold Scott, Health System chief information officer; David E. Smith, associate professor of environmental sciences; Karin Wittenborg, University librarian; and James P. Gunderson, engineering graduate student. Casteen expects to make an appointment in the spring. Dr. Robert Reynolds, vice provost for the Health System, currently holds the position on an interim basis.
