Legislative forum to be held Jan. 7

Local legislators Sen. Emily Couric, Del. Paul Harris and Del. Mitch Van Yahres, along with U.Va. President John T. Casteen III, will speak at a forum on legislative issues to be held at noon Jan. 7 in Newcomb Hall Ballroom. The University community and public are invited to attend and bring their lunch.

The panelists will discuss issues facing the 2000 General Assembly session, including those that influence the future of higher education in Virginia.

The forum will include time for audience questions.
