If you're eager to sign up for a training workshop or professional
program, check out www.hrs.virginia.edu/odt,
the web site for the Department of Organizational Development
and Training. In an effort to save trees, ODT will update its
workshop offerings online, rather than send out printed booklets
and fliers.
The
department coordinates a range of programs and services for U.Va.
faculty and staff to improve individual performance, facilitate
organizational change and enhance the quality of worklife at the
University. The initiatives are developed in response to identified
needs and include:

professional development opportunities for managers, supervisors
and employees,

technical assistance in strategic planning, staff training and
organizational change,
- and
consulting services, including departmental assessments and
action planning.
