Wanted: Outstanding employee nominations

Nominations for the annual Outstanding Contributions Awards will be accepted through March 31. The awards recognize University employees whose service and contributions have far exceeded even exemplary performance. Up to 10 awards -- five from the University Health System and five from the academic division -- will be made. Nominees must be currently employed, non-probationary, salaried classified and Health System employees in good standing. Any member of the U.Va. community may submit a nomination, but employees may not nominate themselves.

Winners will be honored at the annual service award banquet, to be held June 6 at 6 p.m. at the Omni Hotel, along with employees who have 25 or more years of service.

Employees with 10, 15 and 20 years of service will be honored May 23 at 1:30 p.m. in the Culbreth Theater.
