Heidi Synnatzschke-Cochran

Heidi Synnatzschke-Cochran, 56, died Feb. 8. She had worked with the University libraries since 1973, serving as the Germanic and Slavic languages cataloguer.

Arthur S. "Pop" Shifflett

Arthur S. "Pop" Shifflett, 79, who retired after a 25-year career in Facilities Management, died March 14. Memorial donations for Synnatzschke-Cochran and Shifflett may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1490 Pantops Mountain Place, Suite 200, Charlottesville VA 22911.
