The Paul Dresher Ensemble
Blending contemporary music technology with traditional acoustic instruments, the Paul Dresher Ensemble will perform April 6 at 8:15 p.m. in Old Cabell Auditorium. The chamber group, which Dresher founded in 1993, will play an original program written by Dresher and contemporary composer David Lang, "Fresh -- With a Vengeance." The music draws from classical, as well as rock, jazz and music of other cultures. An Arts Enhancement event, the concert costs $10 for the general public, $5 or 5 ARTS$ for students. Call the box office at 924-3984.
