  • Marion Lee Long, 56, died March 30 at his home. He had retired in 1998 from Information Technology and Communications after 35 years of service.

  • Paul M. Dorrier, 65, of Buckingham County died April 3 at his home. He retired from the University Hospital in 1996. Memorial gifts may be made to: Hospice of the Piedmont, 1490 Pantops Mountain Place - Suite 200, Charlottesville,VA 22911.

  • William M. Colony, 72, died March 15 in Stanardsville. He was a visiting lecturer in the School of Architecture from 1971 through 1974, and in 1975 received a two-year appointment as professor of city planning while a staff member of the federal Environmental Protection Agency. While at U.Va., he assisted in the schoolıs development of coursework in environmental planning and evaluation.
