  • Gloria Jean Napier, 51, of Earlysville, died June 18. She was a computer operator with the U.Va. Health Services Foundation. Memorial contributions may be made to: Northside Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, 1820 Airport Road, Charlottesville, VA 22911.

  • Joe Massie Johnson, 80, of Faber, died June 25. He was a retired employee of the U.Va. Medical Center.

  • Julius Roy Saunders, 63, of Nellysford, died June 25. A 1960 alumnus of the U.Va. School of Architecture, he was later an adjunct professor of city planning at U.Va. and was active in alumni affairs. Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Virginia Medical Center or St. Maryıs Catholic Church, Lovingston, VA 22949.
