Apply
for TTI fellowships
The
Teaching+Technology Initiative (TTI) Fellowship Program, begun
in 1995 under the auspices of the vice president for information
technology and the provost, is soliciting grant applications for
the 2001 calendar year from faculty members who do a significant
amount of undergraduate teaching.
Developing
innovative uses of technology for teaching and promoting interdisciplinary
discussions of effective teaching at the University are the main
goals of the program. This year at least four different projects
will be selected.
The
request for proposals form can be found at http://tti.itc.virginia.edu/tti_rfp.html,
and the deadline is Oct. 17. Fellows will be selected at the end
of November to begin their fellowship year in January.
For
technological information contact ITC's John Alexander (john@virginia.edu).
For information about faculty interactions contact Judith Reagan
(jude@virginia.edu) at
the Teaching
Resource Center.
