Fair day
Rebecca Arrington
Student-led groups and other organizations set up tents and gave away freebies last week at the annual Student Activities Fair in the McIntire Amphitheatre. U.Va. student groups abound, with a record 437 in existence last year. So far, about 350 had renewed their contracts by last week, but that'll continue through the month of September, according to Pat Payne, secretary to the Student Council. She expects they'll at least reach last year's number of Contracted Independent Organizations.
