TTI fellowship deadline
Oct. 27
The
Teaching+Technology Initiative Fellowship Program is soliciting
grant applications for the 2001 calendar year from faculty members
who do a significant amount of undergraduate teaching.
Developing
exciting, innovative uses of technology for teaching and promoting
interdisciplinary discussions of effective teaching at the University
are the main goals of the program. This year at least four different
projects will be selected that not only integrate teaching and
technology, but also show promise for spreading these advances
to other faculty members.
Fellows
will be provided with the hardware and software as well as the
release time (e.g. summer stipend and/or course relief) necessary
to complete their projects. Project budgets should not exceed
$20,000.
An
application form can be found at http://tti.itc.virginia.edu/tti_rfp.html.
The deadline is Oct. 27. Fellows will be selected at the end of
November to begin their fellowship in January.
