J. Palamattom, 71, of Charlottesville, died Sept. 22. A nurse,
she retired from the Medical Center in 1984 after 25 years of
service.

Louis Edward DeBusk, 76, died Sept. 30. He was employed
by Food Services for seven years in Newcomb Hall. Memorial donations

Robert Emmett Miller, 76, of Barboursville, died Oct. 10.
He was a laboratory instrument supervisor at the University for
10 years.
• Jasper
Banks Sr., 67, of Charlottesville died Oct. 12. He retired
from the Medical Center in 1990 with 41 years of service.
• Virginia
L. Barnett, 83, of Charlottesville, died Oct. 14. She was
a retired employee of the Law School library. Memorial donations
may be made to the Alzheimer's Association -- Charlottesville/Piedmont
Chapter.
