Looking for distinguished alumnae

The U.Va. Women's Center is accepting nominations for its 2001 University of Virginia Distinguished Alumna Award, which honors a female U.Va. graduate who has demonstrated excellence, leadership and extraordinary commitment to her field. Established in 1991, the award also recognizes how the alumna has used her talents as a positive force for change.

The deadline for nominations is Feb. 5. To submit a nominee, send her name, year of graduation, current position, a brief explanation of nomination and three letters of support to Associate Director Virginia Moran, Women's Center, P.O.
