"Web of Science" is an online database that provides bibliographic and citation information from more than 8,500 journals, as well as a growing number of links to full-text articles. Users can even trace the progress of research on a given topic. The database -- available for free only through U.Va. computers under a licensing agreement -- also includes the social sciences, arts and the humanities.
