General faculty sought

The U.Va. General Faculty Council is seeking nominations for new members. Nominations are sought for each of the following areas: administration, Arts & Sciences, libraries, and the Medical School. Nominations should be submitted by March 2.

To be eligible, nominees must have held a general faculty, non-tenure position for the past 12 months and be willing to serve on the council for three years, from April 2001 to March 2004.

The General Faculty Council represents full- and part-time academic general faculty, administrative and professional general faculty, and research professional staff. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. For information, see the Web site at http://www.virginia.edu/~genfac.
