• Anne Russell, 78, of Charlottesville, died Feb. 25. She was a long-term employee of the University Health System, chiefly in the Biomedical Communications Department.

• Pauline H. Jackson, 56, of Charlottesville, died Feb. 25. She served the University both as a nurse, mostly in the newborn nursery unit, and as a part-time cook. She was also the mother of state Del. Paul C. Harris of Albemarle County.
