Turning
100 in Top 100
The
University Hospital has received a Top 100 Hospital designation
for the third consecutive year from Solucient, a health information
company that conducts the annual survey. Following an April 4
ceremony, an ice cream social was held for U.Va. employees.
The
hospital will celebrate its centennial April 13, launching a yearlong
celebration, which includes opening a time capsule and the cornerstone
of the old hospital building; exhibiting a centennial painting
in the University Hospital lobby; and offering guided walking

U.Va.’s
School of Nursing is also celebrating its centennial this year
with numerous events. Its gala weekend is April 20-22. For details,
