Babyfest to arrive June 16

If you're thinking about having a baby, expecting your first child or have a growing family, babyfest may be of interest to you. The event will take place June 16 at Lee Park, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Features of the program, sponsored by The Women's Place of U.Va.'s Health System, will include:

• "Ask the Doctor." Meet physicians from Obstetrics, the Children's Medical Center and Family Medicine.

• Pizza, door prizes, music and crafts.

• Information booths with the latest on healthy pregnancy, infant brain development, pregnancy over age 35, car seat safety, and other topics.

• The Diaper Derby.

• Coupons for a free child's car seat to the first 30 people who register.

• Coupons for free Domino's pizza when you bring new or gently used books to benefit Head Start families.
