• Edward C. Eisenhart, 81, of Charlottesville, died Oct. 18, at his home. He was a board member of the Associates of the Library for the University of Virginia.
• Stuart Virgil Gray, 87, died Oct. 20 in Afton. He was retired from University of Virginia Hospital.

• Marian Atkinson Ryerson, 80, died Oct. 25 in Charlottesville. Her working life included the Nursing School, Tayloe Murphy Institute and many years at the Law School.

• Mary Eliza Tisdale Canody, 93, of Afton, died Nov. 9. She worked at the Medical Center as an LPN.
