Jan. 4 forum: Ask your local legislators

A legislative forum will be held at noon Jan. 4 in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom. Panelists include newly elected Delegate Rob Bell, Del. Mitch Van Yahres and the senator-elect who will take the late Emily Couric’s seat. U.Va. President John T. Casteen III also will participate in the discussion, which will have a question-and-answer period. The forum, hosted by the University’s Office of State Governmental Relations, will address issues facing the 2002 General Assembly, especially those that affect higher education and the U.Va. Health System, as well as the state and local community.
