Planning your retirement income
Have you saved enough for your retirement? University Human
Resources Benefits Division has set up workshops and
drop-in sites for employees to get more information on investing
and using tax-deferred savings, two ways of planning for the future.
All
of the firms that the University contracts with to provide tax-deferred
savings plans TIAA-CREF, Fidelity and Vanguard, along with
the States 457 Plan vendor, Great West will visit
U.Va. March 4 through 8 at various locales. Representatives will
be on hand to provide information on their plans and answer questions.

In
addition, the Benefits Division is sponsoring several workshops
on investing, free and open to the University community. Seating
is on a first-come, first-served basis.
