• Cora Marshall Jackson, 84, of Palmyra, died April 25. She was employed at U.Va. from December 1960 until her retirement in September 1983 as a hospital attendant specialist.

• Richard A. Patterson, 64, of Charlottesville, died April 25. He was employed at U.Va. from December 1981 until his death, most recently as an information technician specialist III.
