Casteen named to board

University President John T. Casteen III is one of five new appointees to the board of directors of the Washington-based Association of American Colleges and Universities. He began a two-year term in April.

The association, whose members include more than 750 accredited public and private colleges and universities, bills itself as “the leading national association devoted to advancing and strengthening liberal learning for all students, regardless of academic specialization or intended career.”
